Workshop
SBK Automotive Workshop (U) LTD, Lugoba, Kawempe, Kampala, Uganda. Phone +256 759 733767. Hours: Monday–Saturday, 08:00–18:00. Sunday closed unless we agree otherwise in writing or on WhatsApp.
Estimates
A diagnostic inspection may be charged even if you decline the repair. Quotes separate parts and labour. A quote is valid for 7 days and may change if parts prices or the fault changes after the vehicle is opened. Extra work is not started without your approval by phone or message.
Parts
We will tell you whether a part is new, genuine, or an equivalent. Removed parts can be returned to you on request at collection. Parts you supply are fitted at your risk as to fitness and warranty. Our labour on customer-supplied parts is still payable.
Vehicles left with us
You authorise road testing where it is needed to confirm a fault or a repair. We take reasonable care of vehicles on site. We are not liable for items left inside the car. Uncollected vehicles may incur a storage charge after 14 days’ notice to the phone number you gave us.
Payment and liability
Payment is due on collection unless we agree otherwise. We may retain the vehicle until the agreed invoice is paid. Our liability for workshop work is limited to redoing defective workmanship we performed, or refunding the labour for that work, except where Ugandan law does not allow a limit. We do not accept liability for consequential loss such as hire cars or lost business.
