Diagnose before you replace
Modern vehicles store fault codes, live data, and sometimes freeze-frame conditions from the moment a warning appeared. Replacing a sensor because it is the usual suspect wastes money and can leave the original fault untouched.
At SBK we start with a scan, then confirm the reading against the symptom you actually feel: a misfire under load, a hot idle, a light that only comes on in traffic. Codes point. They do not, by themselves, name the failed part.
Bring the car in before clearing the light. A cleared memory also clears the evidence. If the light returned after another garage cleared it, tell us what was already replaced so we do not repeat that work.
